Tarah

I have been very interested in starting to try to take some senior portraits. After looking long and hard for the perfect person with the perfect personality, I found her. So this is Tarah and she will actually be a Senior this year! She usually has the best personality with all giggles but happened not to show her personality in the pictures. Thanks Tarah for being a ginnie pig for me! I caught some great shots anyway!!

Beautiful smile!

Yes, I caught her playing with the dog on the mural which goes right along with that personality that I like so well!

I had to keep this shot! Once again, her bubbly personality!

Serious Look!!

On the farm.

Baby Caden

Caden's parents brought him out to our barn for some new photos of him!! He has such a personality for a 5 month old!! All of his little expressions are so cute. Unfortunately, it was raining during the session so it threw most of my ideas out the window!! However, I think I caught some really cute pictures of Caden and his cousin Preslei. Once again, I had a rough time of deciding which pictures I wanted to put on the blog. So, here are several that turned out very cute! Thanks Chris, Cori, Amanda, Preslei and Caden!! We enjoyed taking your pictures!

I LOVE this one!! He looks like he is puckering up for a kiss!!

Too cute of him with his hat on!

One of the most adorable pictures that I have seen in quite a while!! Kissing cousins!! Cute cute!

There's that smile that I was looking for!

Little Miss Priss!! You have got to love this child and her BIG bows!! I get a laugh everytime I see her!

Cool Dude with his sun glasses. We are actually still editing this one and it will look really neat after we are finished with it!

It took a lot of creative minds to make it work. It was almost as if this barn swallowed the poor baby!! But we caught some shots that had a rugged look to them as well!

I love this one as well!! He looks like he was trying to talk!

Tom Brown Park Revisited!

A couple of weeks ago we took a "family field trip" to Tom Brown Park! I know you are all thinking that I have lost my mind but I love taking Eli to places that he's never been or it's been a long time! Tom Brown Park has really come a long way since I was a child and has turned into a really neat place! We caught some cute pics of Eli while we were there!

We kept promising Eli that after we went around the pond on the boardwalk that he could go and play. So, the caption here: "Dang it y'all told me I could go so I'm going NOW"!!

On the boardwalk looking for turtles!

Cheesing for Mommy!

I think I see one!

Oh Wow!! There are lots of them!

Eli has become a "poser"! He now does his own pose for the camera! We did not pose him like this!

Typical little boy having fun!

Whatcha want Mommy?

I cannot believe that he LOOKS like a little boy now and not a baby!!

MMMMM.... GOOD WATER!!!!!!!!

Ok I am not so sure about this!

Cason

We visited Pebble Hill Plantation with Anna, Bruce and Cason last Saturday to take some photos of Cason since he is turning 2 next week!! I think he started off a little scared of me and my camera but eventually warmed up and became a challenge!! It is usually a challenge to photograph little ones who are on the go but I am really happy with the shots that I caught! Pebble Hill has become one of my favorite places to take pictures. In the following pictures you can see why! Also, you can see the vibrant and active little boy that gave me a challenge to "catch" up with him!!

We started off not so sure but we caught some really cute faces!

Started off with a smile!

Then, Cason became not so sure of what I was doing to him!! BUT we played Peek-A-Boo!

I think he was just about to get really mad at me!!

Oh yes!! He got REALLY mad at me!!

This has become one of my favorite shots that I have ever taken! It has a very rustic look and I love the overalls with it!

So cute and innocent!

I added a little rustic look to this one as well and I love how it turned out!

Cason's mommy had a very good idea of playing with the stump! This one turned out cute as well!

Not paying me any mind!

I am in love with this next photo. I plan on editing it a little but I have not touched it!! It turned out to be an AMAZING picture that I am quite impressed with!

Cason looks like a little farm boy in this one!! So adorable! :)

Family Vacation-Destin 2009

We were able to take an annual summer vacation with our family to Destin, Florida. As you can see in the pictures below, we had a blast. There were several hiccups during the trip but we were able to make the best of it!! Eli had to readjust his schedule which has been very hard on him but he made it through!! Enjoy!!
